Our approach to EIAs

Our Equality Impact Assessment (EIA) template was designed for internal use at the Agile Initiative, a NERC-funded programme revolutionising how research responds to the urgent needs of policymakers on critical environmental issues through rapid research projects called Sprints.

EIAs evaluate the potential or unintended positive and negative impacts of research on different groups. We welcome the adaptation of this document for the purposes of external research projects.
