Pre-announcement: Next Sprint Funding Call to Open in September 2024

Agile’s next round of Sprint Funding will be open for expressions of interest from late September to late November 2024.  

The Sprint Funding Call 

In September, the Agile Initiative will launch a new call for short research sprints.

In this call, we will invite expressions of interest on: 

• Questions Agile has co-created with policy partners, which researchers can respond to 

• Environmental, policy-focused research questions proposed by researchers in collaboration with their own policy partners 

Sprint research projects need to be: 

• Interdisciplinary 

• Responding to a clear and pressing policy demand 

• Co-created with policy partners from the government (local, regional, national or international), industry, or the third sector 

• Completed within 12 months of start date 

• Led by an Oxford University researcher with a research contract at Grade 7 or above  

• Awards will range from £150,000 to £450,000 FEC in line with UKRI terms and conditions
