A focussed group drawn from across academia, government, industry, and major investment and regulatory organisations met to hear the first findings from the Sprint's research and to discuss how to scale up green ammonia as a shipping fuel.

Agile researchers have developed an evidence summary to show how revisions to UK planning policy could help reverse the ongoing loss of green spaces and deliver high quality green infrastructure to tackle inequality and support urban regeneration.

The Agile Sprint team highlighted the importance of soil health to provide essential ecosystem services, from food provision to climate change mitigation.

As we enter our fourth month of work on our Agile sprint on Scaling Up Nature-based Solutions in the UK, team member Audrey Wagner reflects on her time at COP27 and considers what we can learn from the recent events at COP27.

We provide the venue, facilitators, sandwiches, and tea and coffee, and ask researchers to bring their experience, learnings, and a willingness to share.

Green ammonia, identified as being the most favourable shipping fuel for long distance paths, is expected to play a major role in future long distance green corridors, but it is still facing uncertainties.

The Agile Initiative at the Oxford Martin School will be running a one-week residential Summer School at Oxford University between 10-14 July 2023.
