Announcing Three New Sprints

The Agile Initiative is pleased to announce the launch of three new Sprints. These projects demonstrate the breadth of our research portfolio and the potential for impact on policy across the environmental sciences. We look forward to sharing the progress of these new Sprints – learn more below:

Is “nature” a policy solution to mental health in schools?

Aim: to provide evidence to support or challenge the value of Nature-based Programmes for mental health and wellbeing in young people, delivered through schools. Read more on the Sprint webpage.

Can regenerative agriculture deliver nutritious food and a just food system?

Aim: to clarify if and how regenerative agriculture can lead to greater alignment of land based and food security/nutritional goals, and support a just transition for farmers and consumers, creating regenerative food systems. Read more on the Sprint webpage.

How can the UK implement the finance-related goals of the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework? 

Aim: to generate novel research to inform the UK Government’s approach to achieving targets outlined in the Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF) and enabling the UK as an exemplar in coordinating financial regulation, nature markets and conservation policy towards delivering the GBF.
