The Agile Initiative is offering non-staff funding of up to £10,000 to researchers at Oxford University who are working on topics relevant to Agile’s mission. It is designed to enable research-related activities that support Agile’s overall aims:
- Delivering evidence-based solutions to environmental science policy questions through research ‘Sprints’. This includes finding ways to identify and co-create new research questions and areas that are academically interesting and policy-relevant.
- Creating a cohort of interdisciplinary researchers and building capacity for interdisciplinary research, ensuring that our researchers are skilled in designing and delivering rapid, interdisciplinary, solutions-oriented research.
- Contributing to a research culture shift that enables this form of interdisciplinary, solutions-focused research; identifying the enablers and obstacles in the institutional structures and pushing for change.
